Mother’s day.

Sunday morning, May 10, 2015.  Mother’s day.


You peel your wife’s arm off your chest, put the bathrobe she bought you for Christmas on over you PJ’s and tiptoe out of the bedroom.  Your kids are already up, sitting on the stairs and grinning from ear to ear.  They “shhhhh,” you as the floor creaks beneath your slippers and you all rush downstairs to the kitchen.
